Samuel Nacach is an engineer, researcher, and musician, whose practice explores post production, studio and concert recording, and 3D audio. Nacach received his Bachelors degree in Music, Computing and the Arts at the University of California, San Diego in 2012 and is a 2014 graduate of the Masters in Music Technology program Tonmeister Track at New York University. Over the years he developed his skills as a backend audio engineer, practicing in various audio platforms. He has worked as front of house engineer for artist such as OK GO, Imagine Dragons, and Steve Reich; concert recordist for the La Jolla Symphony and multiple chamber orchestras in San Diego; studio recordist/mixer for artists Maggie Rogers, Little Sur, Thieves of the American Dream and more; AV technician on countless events, and an overall audiophile and musician. He specializes in spatial audio, post-production mixing/sound design, and acoustic recordings.
